We at Roman Glass were very proud to be selected to fit the new glazing bars and glass to the roof of Bristol Museum. We used Lonsdale Thermgard ALM 100/3 (DG) glazing bars. The overall length of glazing on this job was approximately 60 Metres.
The glass used was a special glass that minimised the effects of the suns UV rays damaging the exhibits within the museum. The make up of this glass was 6mm Toughened Glaverbel Stopray Vision – 50T – 12mm Cavity – 7.5mm Glaverbel Stratobel Laminated with 6No. PVB Interlayer’s.
